Surya Bahadur Bhetwal
Chief Exeutive Officer
I have always likened my love for adventure sports to being high- not on drugs but on life. My eagerness
to participate in bungee jumping, paragliding, white water rafting and such is my way of being high on
life, something that feeds my soul even if it sometimes takes a toll on my body. This interest in adventure
sports is what propelled me to team up with Mr. Raj Ranjitkar to run a company that would basically help
people enjoy the same kind of adrenaline rush that I enjoy but at an affordable price. I consider myself to
be nothing more than a mediator who facilitates these thrill-seeking individuals to get to the place where
they can get their fix.
Although adventure sports is what drove me into this business, I still believe that safety comes first and
do everything within my ability to make sure that all loose ends are tied before setting out on a journey. I
consider my client to be more than just clients who, I believe, could be lifelong friends if treated in a right
way . I like being around people so I look forward to accompanying my clients on a trip and go out of my
way to make their trip even more fun and exciting.
I have been in this field for long enough to know that everything has to be right for the customer to be a
regular client- be it accomodation or food or transportation- so I really put a lot of effort into making sure
that no stone is left unturned in giving the best service to the customers.
An avid travel enthusiast, I have always been fascinated by the idea of travelling to far and away lands,
meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I not only like to experience these myself but would
also like to help others achieve their dreams of travelling and trekking to new places. The best way to do
so, I thought, would be to run a travel and tour company that not only brings like-minded people together
and send them to visit the place of their choice at a a very affordable price but also foray into new,
unchartered territory that could later develop into a tourist hub.
Having been in this field for a long time, I have an extensive knowledge of all the intricacies related to
the tourism sector in Nepal including the kind of places that tourists want to visit, the kind of package
they choose, and the the kind of people they want to be surrounded with while they are here. And I make
sure that I and the people I work with put that knowledge to good use by overseeing even the smallest of
details when coming up with a package - from creating the most customer-friendly itinerary to visiting
hotels, resorts, and other liaising companies myself to make sure of the quality of the service they
I insist on giving the kind of service that will compel the customers to come back and do business with us
again and I strongly believe that to make that happen, we should always be directed by a popular Nepali
motto " atithi devo bhava", which loosely translates as " tourists ( guests) are like god and you should
always treat them as such."
